Accommodation (including)

Comfortably furnished bedrooms with beds, linen, cupboards, etc; 3 well balanced, nutritious meals per day; clothing, toiletries, shoes and underwear.

Counselling and assistance

Our full time social worker counsels all our residents for the duration of their stay with us; legal advice and support at court appearances.

Access to Medical Care

Residents are taken to local practitioners, day hospitals and the Mowbray Maternity Hospital as required.

Activities Offered

Spiritual upliftment; work preparedness; AIDS awareness classes and relaxation classes; birth preparation including the provision of a birth partner where required; relaxation.

Schooling

On site, we have a new, fully equipped crèche run by a fulltime childcare worker; wherever possible, children are placed in local schools and assistance in this regard provided.

Skills Training Centre

On site, fully equipped skills training centre run by fulltime skills trainer offering beadwork, sewing, decoupage, card making, fabric painting, dreamboards and computer literacy classes.

2ND Stage

A 2nd stage cottage, built on our premises, offering semi-independent living to working residents (opened in November 2005) and able to accommodate 3 families.
